PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct proper limit processing by limiting output image data based on the amount of a recording material on which an image is formed, allowing a gradation correction device to conduct gradation correction in response to the resolution and limiting the data amount to an amount in response to the resolution based on the image forming enable recording medium amount. SOLUTION: A UCR black generating section 40, a gamma correction section 50, and a binarization processing section 60 in the image processing unit 100 conduct processing.
