Mounting base for supporting electric switch-cabinet

The support base (50) fits beneath the switch cabinet to lift it off the floor for facilitating easy opening of the switch cabinet doors. It has a rectangular frame of uniform height formed by vertical side panels (4,5,6,7), joined together via corner pieces (10) defining the corner edges (11). The corner pieces are provided by profile sections providing perpendicular mounting surfaces for the ends of the adjacent side panels and having longitudinal slits for reception of the fixing bolts.
