<p>A magnetic tape drive for reading and writing data on magnetic tape in a cartridge (10) of the type in which a driven roller (11) in the cartridge (10) moves tape towards a read/write head (13) and the drive has a one-piece molded chassis (17). The chassis (17) is suspended at three points in a pan (19). At each point an interference fit between a planar mounting member (20, 22, 24) on the chassis and a slot (25-27) in a support member (28-30) in the pan (19) provides an easy snap-in mounting for the chassis (17).</p> |
