The isolation plate is comprised of a flexible, fibrous material. An inner part of the plate is made of a cellulose material (1) and the outer part or the casing (2) of the plate is also made of a plastics material. The inner part may also be made from fibrous wood, paper, fleece, aluminium or a different synthetic material, as long as the material is fibrous and has damping characteristics.
