<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wt. of a rotary drum to easily attach the drum to a casing. SOLUTION: A casing 11 into which a coolant C containing cut refuse 13 flows is provided. Filtering rotary drums 14, 15 are supported within the casing 11 in a rotatable manner. These rotary drums 14, 15 are rotated not only to filter the coolant C but also to move the cut refuse 13b floating on the liquid surface W of the coolant to a floating waste recovering positionαfrom a coolant charging port 11b. The base ends of these filtering drums 14, 15 are supported in a cantilevered fashion.</p> |
