PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain calcium phosphate for food additives, having good feeling in eating, soft and pleasant on the tongue and having fluidity-adding effect by crushing calcium phosphate to have a specific particle size using a jet mill. SOLUTION: In this production method for calcium phosphate having <=4μm average particle size and containing no particles having >=15μm particle size, is to react calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate and/or calcium oxide are reacted with phosphoric acid at preferably >=70%, the produced slurry is filtered, dryed, then the obtained calcium phosphate is crushed by a jet mill to obtain the objective compound. The calcium phosphate is preferably hydroxyapatite. It is preferable to adjust pH to be 7-8 when suspending calcium phosphate crushed in the jet mill in 10wt.% concentration. As a filter used for filtering the slurry, e.g. a filter press, a press type filter, etc., are preferable. |
