<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink composed of a W/O-type emulsion consisting of an oil phase containing different specific kinds of solvents and a water phase, effective for preventing the increase in the print density after leaving the ink in a rotary mimeographic printer, the flying of printing paper and the setting-off of ink and useful for a single-drum mimeographic printer. SOLUTION: This emulsion ink is composed of a W/O-type emulsion consisting of 10-50wt.% of an oil phase and 90-50wt.% of a water phase. The oil phase contains (A) >=5wt.% (based on the total water phase) of a water- insoluble solvent having a medium boiling point (e.g. having a boiling point of 180-267 deg.C) and (B) a high-boiling solvent (a solvent having a boiling point higher than that of the component A, e.g. olive oil, castor oil, salad oil, sardine oil, whale oil, machine oil or spindle oil).</p> |
