PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mixture of foreign matters and to provide a method for making a polyimide tube which is thin and has uniform thickness in a method in which the solution of a polyimide precursor is applied on the outer surface of a core body, a uniform film is prepared by a die, and the polyimide tube is made by heating. SOLUTION: In a method for making a polyimide tube in which the solution of a polyimide precursor is applied on the outer surface of a core body 1, a die 2 the inside diameter of which is larger than the outside diameter of the core body 1 is passed outside the core body 1, a film with desired thickness is formed, the film is heated until it has strength as a tube, and the tube is removed from the core body 1, the die 2 is arranged above the side part of the core body 1, and the solution of a polyimide precursor 6 is injected right under the die 2 to apply the solution 6 on the core body. After that, the die 2 is passed outside the core body 1. |
