The parking brake of an automobile is capable of pulling a drum of wheel to operate the brake, even though a brake pedal does not pedal, when a speed sensor is '0' upon stopping. The parking brake of the automobile comprises: a length adjusting hole adapted for cable connecting, each cable connecting a parking brake lever and a parking brake within a drum, and for length adjustment; a vacuum pressure cylinder having a piston rod connected to the length adjusting hole to be operated by vacuum pressure and air pressure; and a vacuum pressure and air pressure operating solenoid valve connected to an E.C.U. to open/close vacuum pressure inlet/outlet and air pressure inlet/outlet of the vacuum pressure cylinder.
