The present invention is to provide an apparatus for receiving spread spectrum signals. The apparatus for receiving according to the present invention comprises: a first receiving means; a second receiving means arranged in parallel to said first receiving means; a first switching means(11) for switching a signal said first receiving means; and a second switching means(12) for switching a signal said second receiving means, wherein said first receiving means and said second receiving means comprise a coupling means(1) for a received signal to local PN code, bandpass filtering means(2) for passing a predetermined band of the signal from said coupling means(1), envelope detecting means(3) for detecting an envelope of the signal from said bandpass filtering means(2), integration means(4) for integrating and outputting the signal from said envelope detecting means(3) for a predetermined time, a comparing means(5) for comparing output of said integration means(4) with a threshold value and determining whether a signal is acquired or not and a local PN code generating means(6) for receiving output of said comparing means(5) generating a local PN code of which phase is updated, and wherein said first switching means(11) receives output signal of said second switching means(12) as a control signal, and said second switching means(12) receives output signal of said first switching means(11). Thereby, the present invention can reduce an aquisition time of spread spectrum signal.
