The clamp, designed to hold boots on the surface of a snow-board, consists of a fixed stop and a spring-loaded jaw to engage with projections on either side of each boot, fastening it to a plate which is able to pivot on the surface of the board about a vertical axis so that the position of the feet can be adjusted in relation to the board. The spring-loaded jaw (21) of each clamp is pivoted to a block (22) fixed to the plate (3), its pivot being spring-loaded in a lengthwise slot (28) and equipped with a ratchet wheel (32). The spring (26) pushes the jaw towards the side of the boot, and when the latter presses down on the edge (33) of the jaw a thrust surface (34) engages with the top of the boot projection and the ratchet pawl (56) locks it in place until released by pulling on cord (58).
