Handling device for elongated goods

The device deals with long items stored in stacked cassettes (1,2,23). These cassettes have handles at two opposite ends to facilitate their lifting and movement via a lift mechanism (3). This mechanism has series of bearing points (24,25,26) that engage the cassettes' handles. Preferably there is a large vertical clearance between these and the handles.
