FIELD: agricultural equipment; animal husbandry. SUBSTANCE: automatic drinker has accumulating reservoir 1 with float-type valve 2 for water level adjustment, water supply pipeline 3, inlet pipe union 5 and drain pipe union 6, drinking bowl 7. Water from accumulating reservoir flows through pipeline 3, inlet pipe union 5 and drain union 6 to fill bowl 7 up to top level. Then equilibrium is achieved, water flow is stopped in inlet pipe union at water stopping level and overflowing is thus prevented. This takes place due to action of water column in bowl 7 through air plug located inside inlet pipe union. When animals start drinking, thus lowering water level in bowl and reducing height of water column H, water starts flowing into bowl again overflowing water stopping level in bowl. On end of drinking, water level in bow is restored up to top level and water supply is discontinued. EFFECT: high efficiency. 6 cl, 6 dwg |
