The composite speech multiplexing circuit in which there are provided a filter for filtering a specific frequency of a broadcasting signal in a speech multiplex system, an intermediate frequency detection and speech-chroma signal processor for converting the filtered signal into an intermediate frequency and processing a speech signal and a chroma signal which are converted into the intermediate frequency, and signal processing boards each for processing different speech multiplex broadcasting signals, comprises: a switch for switching the speech multiplex broadcasting signal applied from the signal processor to the corresponding signal processing board; and a microcomputer for receiving the signal processed by the signal processor to discriminate the speech multiplex broadcasting system of the corresponding signal and for controlling the switch in accordance with the discriminated signal to apply the speech multiplex broadcasting signal to the corresponding signal processing board.
