WORKPIECE CHAMFERING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform chamfering at required sections simultaneously while deburring the whole of a workpiece by gripping and inserting the workpiece into a vibration tank of a vibration barrel device and rotating the workpiece in the opposite direction to the direction of circulation of an abrasive so as to chamfer an end face to be machined mechanically. SOLUTION: A ceramic abrasive 8 is put into a vibration tank 7 of a vibration barrel device 10 and is rotated and vibrated by an electric motor in which a vibrator 5 provided in a lower section of the vibration tank 7 is built to circulate it in the circumferential direction. In the abrasive 8, a workpiece 9 is attached to a workpiece mounting device 24 of a workpiece gripping device 20 and a workpiece rotation device 21 is driven to rotate the workpiece mounting device 24 in the opposite direction to the direction of circulation of the abrasive 8. Thus, the abrasive 8 and the workpiece 9 are rotated in the opposite directions mutually to rub them forcedly so that chamfering of an end face to be machined mechanically of the workpiece 9 is performed.
