PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit automatic and reliable storage of a writing table in a chair after use wherein the writing table is stowed in a storage provided just under an armrest. SOLUTION: A fixing shaft 11 is fixed to the head of a slide base 7 installed inside a storage section 4 with a gentle slope, a turning frame 12 which turns about 180 deg. around the shaft is pivoted, a writing table 3 is pivoted to the turning frame so that it may be raised-laid within a range of about 90 deg., and the turning end 17 of a lever 15 with a pull spring 18 is pivoted to the opposite side.
