PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an embedded-in-ceiling type air conditioner whose suction grille can be stopped at a desired position by a simple operation. SOLUTION: An embedded-in-ceiling type air conditioner has a suction grille 9 that is supported so that it can be freely lifted and lowered by a suction grille lifting motor 140, and an operating switch 51 by which changeover operation of conditions of power supply to the suction grille lifting motor 140 can be carried out.
