PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the whitening of a coating film by arranging a temp. sensor of the undried coating film on a support to the region from a coating part to the vicinity of the inlet in a drying zone to form the undried coating film so that the temp. of the film lowers to below specific temp. SOLUTION: A coated base film is allowed to run through a windless chamber while an in frared radiation thermometer 9 having a wavelength of about 8μm as the center of a measuring wavelength is arranged above an undried coating film 5 to measure the temp. of the undried coating film 5. Infrared radiation thermometers 9 are arranged above the undried coating film 5 at six places of a normal temp. drying zone 6 and arranged at four places of the drying zone in an oven at an interval of about 5cm and the temp. of the undried coating film 5 after coating is measured at any time until the lowering of said temp. is completed. The infrared radiation thermometers in the oven is cooled by water and, if the measured temp. of the undried coating film 5 becomes below 0 deg.C during coating and whitening is ready to generate, the concn. of a resin soln. is raised. |
