<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify extremely the assembling and the manufacture in a housing of an auxiliary steering power source of an electric power steering, and to realize a small size. SOLUTION: In an auxiliary steering power source A in which a gear mechanism A1 which consists of a driven gear 5 provided at a steering shaft side and a driving gear 6 is composed, and driven by the motive power of a motor M, the installed part 8b of a gear housing 8, and the hole 10a for installing of a housing 10 for motor are made faucet fittable. The hole 10a for installing is fixed to the installed part 8b by a calking means. A groove for connecting is formed along the outer periphery of the installed part 8b of the gear housing 8, and the hole 10 is fixed along the outer periphery of the installed part 8d by a calking means. Or in the other way, the hole 10a for installing of the housing 10 for motor is fixed along the outer periphery of the installed part 8b of the gear housing 8, placing a proper interval, and partially by the calking means.</p> |
