PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film high in a limiting value in heat shrinking ratio, low in a temperature for start shrinking, suitable in shrinking speed, not generating a wrinkle, an irregularity in shrinking, a ripple, etc., and almost not showing an expansion in the rectangular direction to the major shrinking direction. SOLUTION: This heat shrinking polyester film is obtained by using a copolyester composition containing (A) a copolyester constituted by dicarboxylic acid units mainly consisting of terephthalic acid unit with diol units mainly consisting of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol units and ethylene glycol units, and (B) a copolyester constituted by dicarboxylic acid units mainly of 2-consisting of terephthalic acid units and diol units mainly consisting of 2-methyl-1,5- pentanediol units or 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol units and ethylene glycol units, in a weight ratio of (40:60)-(95:5). |
