<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even an unskilled person to accurately judge the period of maintenance operation by comparing process data with reference data and estimating and displaying a unit which needs to be maintained. SOLUTION: An operation estimating means 11 reads the reference data out of a memory 10 for a process data base, gathers the process data obtained from respective units provided for a plant, and compares the process data with the reference data to estimate the need which needs to be maintained. A display control means 15 displays the identifier of the estimated unit which needs to be maintained on the screen of a display means 16. Further, a knowledge decoding means 13 reads operation condition data, attached operation data, constitution data, and function data out of a memory 12 for a knowledge data base and decodes them. A context converting means 14 converts the decoded data into data having a context that an operator can understand. Further, the display control means 15 displays the converted data on the screen of the display means 16.</p> |
