摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce a plate support superior in dot gain and stop contamination. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a support for a photosensitive planographic printing plate by applying anodic oxidation treatment to an aluminum plate after mechanically roughening the surface of the aluminum plate, mechanical surface roughening is performed by using a grinding material with Mohs hardness of 8 or more and a mesh particle size of 600-1000 (1) or performed by together using the grinding material with Mohs hardness of 8 or more and a mesh particle size of 600-100 and a grinding material with Mohs hardness of 5-below 8 and a mesh particle size of 400-600 (2) or performed by together using a grinding material with Mohs hardness of 8 or more and a grinding material with Mohs hardness of 5-below 8 (3) and the ratio of the grinding material with Mohs hardness of 8 or more is set to 70-below 90%.
