The proposed method of acoustically treating the productive zone of oil and gas wells involves converting energy from a primary power-supply circuit to the energy of an industrial frequency electrical signal, forwarding that signal to a piezo-ceramic acoustic emitter (7), and converting the energy of the given signal to the energy of an acoustic field acting on the productive zone. A control signal is generated, converted to a constant-sign electrical signal and transmitted as a feedback signal to the ground apparatus. The strength of the feedback signal is measured and the industrial frequency of the electrical signal is adjusted to maximise the feedback signal. The system for acoustically treating the productive zone of oil and gas wells comprises the following elements connected in series: an inverter (1) connected to the variable-frequency master generator (4), an input cable-uncoupling device (11), a cable (13), an output cable-uncoupling device (10), a piezo-ceramic emitter (7), a piezo-ceramic receiver (8) and, connected in series with the latter, an amplitude detector (9) connected to the output cable-uncoupling device (10). A control device (12) is connected to the output device (10). The inverter (1) can take the form of a two-channel transistor gate amplifier with pulse-position modulator.
