Cleaning of fittings, esp. surfaces of heat exchangers

The device is used esp. to clean the surfaces of heat exchangers, and has at least one fan equipment, with one or more telescopic lances (2,3) with nozzles, which are arranged inside an appliance. It also has equipment which supplies a ventilation medium to the fan equipment, and the latter is connected to a drive unit (14). The drive unit has a flexible pulling element which runs in an endless loop around two wheels (11), of which at least one can be driven. The device has tensioning equipment (15) which automatically adjusts the tension of the element. This adjustment may also be made depending on the prevailing temperature in the appliance.
