Benzenesulphonamide cpds. of formula (I), and salts of (I), are new. A = O, S or NH; R1 = cycloalkyl, aryl or heteroaryl (all opt. substd. by halo, alkyl, alkoxy or CF3); R2, R3 = H, opt. perfluorinated alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, heteroaryl or (CH2)n-X; or NR2R3 = a 3-7 membered, opt. partially or fully unsatd heterocycle (contg. one or more N, O or S, and opt. substd. by oxo, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl or (CH2)n-X; X = halo, NO2, OR4, COR4, COOR4, OCOOR4, CN, CONR4OR5, CONR4R5, SR4, SOR4, SO2R4, NR4R5, NH-COR4 or NH-SO2R4; R4, R5 = H, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl; n = 0-6; R6 = 1-4C alkyl (opt. substd. by halo and/or alkoxy); m = 0, 1 or 2.
