<p>The proposed autonomous life-support system for domestic (8) and production (6) units comprises energy sources, communications systems linking the units and system facilities, and a system (22, 23) for purifying drinking water and producing hot water. The proposed system includes food-production units (2). The system's energy sources take the form of facilities for converting the energy contained in water and for growing and gathering products of photosynthesis (10, 32, 33), as well as power-generating waste incineration systems (7) which allow the heat and products of combustion to be used in the food-production units (2). The domestic (8) and/or production (6) units include systems for growing plants with artificial light sources (17) installed in basements and/or auxiliary premises (15) of the domestic (14) and/or production buildings (6). The hot water system comprises an electrolyser (24) connected to the drinking water purification system (22, 23). The power-generating waste incineration systems (7) can be fitted so as to allow the combustion heat and products to be used in the production units (6). The power-generating systems should comprise a power-generation facility with a combustion block, a system for converting water energy, a power-generating machine, a system for producing a difference in water levels, a plant-growing facility, and a hot water system for the domestic and production buildings.</p> |
