<p>Conferencing circuitry (16) and an associated method, for automatically conferencing together a plurality of subscriber units (12-1 through 12-n) of a telephonic communications network (10). A list of directory mumbers associated with the subscriber units (12-1 through 12-n) to be conferenced together is stored in a memory device (26). When an initiating subscriber initiates formation of the telephonic conference, the initiating subscriber merely enters a conference code by way of an initiating subscriber unit (12-1). The conferencing circuitry (16) detects the conference coded, and, in response thereto, automatically conferences together the subscriber units (12-1 through 12-n) associated with the directory numbers of the accessed list.</p> |
