The boot has a shell base (3), with an outer sole (2), which is made of relatively rigid material. A leg (4) with an upper collar (6) surrounds the base of the leg. It has a central front opening (5) with a transversal flap (10) on each side which are closed by clips (7). A cover (12), made in material that is less rigid than that of the shell, is fixed to the edge (11a) of the opening. It has a mainly vertical part that passes round the back of the leg and a mainly horizontal part (13) which covers the top of the shell.
