TUNDISH COLLAR NOZZLE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a tundish collar nozzle which has excellent corrosion resistance while its cost is low and to provide a process for producing the tundish color nozzle capable of easily and inexpensively producing the tundish collar nozzle. SOLUTION: A slurry is formed by dispersing fine solid particles having refractoriness. The slurry is forcibly fed to the working surface of the inside hole of a base material to densely pack the pores opened on the working surface of the inside hole over the prescribed depth; thereafter, the working surface of the inside hole is made denser by executing a heat treatment.
