摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving medium for sublimation transfer having an image receiving layer of good sensitivity and superior light fastness by containing a resin with an active hydrogen, an isocyanate compound and a crosslinking reaction accelerating catalyst, setting the gelation ratio to the whole of the layer in a specified range and constituting the image receiving layer. SOLUTION: This image receiving layer containing a resin with an active hydrogen, an isocyanate compound and a catalyst for accelerating the crosslinking reaction of the resin with the compound and having the gelation ratio to the whole of the layer of 70-99% is provided and an image receiving body for sublimation transfer is formed. The isocyanate compound is one of aliphatic isocyanate compounds, except a displaced body of hexamethylene diisocyanate, or a xylylene diisocyanate compound. An image receiving medium is overlapped on a recording medium so that a transfer layer of the recording medium faces the image receiving layer of the image receiving medium, and thermal printing is carried out from the recording medium side under the condition of image medium speed/recording medium speed > 1, and the sublimation heat transfer is performed.
