PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating state monitor equipment for the radio calling system monitoring the normal state of the radio calling system. SOLUTION: This radio calling system is made up of a telephone set 11, a public telephone network 12, a radio calling exchange 13, an area controller 14, a transmission station 15 and a pager 17. The operating state monitor of this system is a monitor pager 20 arranged in a radio calling area 16. The monitor pager 20 is provided with a call signal decoding section 21 checking the normality of a call signal to lots of unspecified pagers and outputting fault information when the signal is not normal, a timer section 22 that identifies a state of no incidence of a call signal at all within a preset time whose setting is made in matching with traffic and outputs fault information and an alarm section 23 that raises an alarm based on the fault information from the call signal decoding section 21 or the timer section 22. |
