PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize joint strength, simplify construction, and save labor, by arranging bending parts on handrails, and joining together units integrating handrails and balusters at the straight line parts of handrails so as to accurately execute the joint work. SOLUTION: Handrails 18, 19 manufactured in a factory are joined together in a jobfield, a bolt is projectingly provided on the end face of one handrail 18, and a bolt inserting hole is provided on the end face of the other handrail 19. Next, the bolt is inserted into the inserting hole, a gear-like nut is put in a hole provided on the underside of the handrail 19 so as to fasten with the bolt, and the hole is filled with a wooden plug so as to join together the handrails 18, 19. The upper ends of balusters 16, 17 are joined to the underside of the handrails 18, 19 by tenon jointing so as to fix the handrails 18, 19. Hereby, the handrails 18, 19 are joined together at the straight line part corresponding to the inclined part of a staircase accurately and easily, and hence generation of dislocation at jointing can be prevented and joint strength can be stabilized. |
