PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor for recording an ink image of three colors YMC(yellow, magenta, cyan) in which a received Bk(black) image is recorded in a color tone close to the original black while eliminating the blotting with other color or troubles caused by oversupply of ink, e.g. feathering. SOLUTION: A host computer 1007 inputs a four color image data of YMCBk which is masked at a Bk converting section 1003 for each component of YMC produced randomly for the image data of Bk component. Consequently, the Bk component is converted, respectively, into YMC components which are then fed to an image synthesizing section 1004 thus synthesizing the YMC components. An image is then formed based on the synthesized YMC components at an image recording section 1005 for forming an image from three color components of YMC. Finally, inks of YM are delivered from a record head 201 thus recording an image on a recording medium. |
