PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a leather-like sheet material having a large-sized and a small-sized patterns of a high-grade feeling and to provide a method for producing the leather-like sheet material. SOLUTION: This nubuck-tone leather-like sheet material with silver comprises a projected part having a silver face layer and a recessed part having a napped ultrafine fiber existing together on the surface. The projected silver face layer is a complex layer in which the napped ultrafine fiber having <=0.2 denier is fixed by an elastic polymer and which, amounts to 5-80% the whole surface area of the sheet material, most of the projected silver face forms a silver face layer so as to make a discontinuous layer of 0.05-20mm<2> /area. On the other hand, the recessed part is composed of the napped ultrafine fiber having <=0.2 denier and 40-200μm napped fiber length.
