PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can secure a sure conductive connection by stabilizing the sliding movement of a movable contact. SOLUTION: In a connector 10, a hollow form of connecting terminal 14 is inserted in a housing 11, and a coil spring 13 and a slidable movable contact 12 are inserted in the connecting terminal 14. This coil spring 13 is the means to energize the movable contact 12 to the front side of the connector so as to obtain a sufficient contact load. And a conductive contact band 15 having an elastic function is inserted between the outer peripheral surface of the movable contact 14 and the inner circumferential surface of the connecting terminal 14. While the connecting terminal 14 and the movable contact 12 are communicated and connected by the contact band 15, the deflection of the movable contact 12 in the direction square to the axial direction being the fitting direction of the connector can be prevented by the contact band 15. Consequently, a more stable movement of the movable contact 12 can be realized, and a sure conductive connection can be obtained.
