<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate connection operations and lead-in operations by connecting a cable in a wide work room used for connection provided in a manhole or a tunnel and after that, extending the cable through the tunnel or a conduit from the work root SOLUTION: A work room 2 used for connection is provided in a manhole 1 capable of ensuring a sufficient space for connection operations. A cable drum 4 is installed on the ground of a manhole 3 on the side opposite to the manhole 1 in the extending direction of a cable 6. The cable 6 is led into a conduit or a tunnel A toward a work room 2 for connection through the manhole 3. A previous cable 6 is connected to its succeeding cable 6 in the the work room 2. After connection is finished, the cable 6 is extended in the direction indicated by arrow (a) to install a cable connecting part 7 in a predetermined position, for instance, in a manhole 5. The work is repeated. Therefore, the efficiency of cable connecting operations and cable extending operations is enhanced.</p> |
