PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic correction device, for an automatic level, by which a prescribed correction accuracy about the direction of a collimation line can be ensured. SOLUTION: A suspension member 8 is directed to the direction of a line which connects both fixed end parts 6f, 13c between a mounting body 6 and a suspension frame 13. A mounting face 6b on which the suspension member 8 is attached to the mounting body 6 is attached to the mounting body 6 is tilted to the inner side by an angleθ1 with reference to the line which connects both fixed end parts 6f, 13c. In addition, a mounting face 13a on which the suspension member 8 is attached to the suspension frame 13 is tilted to the inner side by an angleθ2 with reference to the line which connects both fixed end parts 6f, 13c.
