PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal equipment having a radio calling function such as a pager with a function as a crime-prevention bell. SOLUTION: As one of the operation keys 60 of the pager, a key for the crime-prevention bell 61 is provided. The key for the crime-prevention bell 61 is made to be an on/off switch dedicated to the crime-prevention bell. ROM 22 in a control circuit 20 consisting of a microcomputer is provided with a crime-prevention processing routine executed by CPU 21 at the time of turning on/off the key for the crime-prevention bell 61. Thereby at the time of turning on the key for the crime-prevention bell 61, a calling sound is generated in a maximum volume from a sounder 32 and a back light 52 for LCD 42 is flashed. At the time of turning off the key for the crime-prevention bell 61, the generation of the calling sound from the sounder 32 is stopped and a back light 52 returns into a stationary state. |
