PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote lecture support device providing appropriate multimedia instructional materials by grasping study understanding situation for every student site in real time. SOLUTION: In this remote lecture support device, a teacher site device 2 consists of a study target storage means 10 to store study targets, an instructional material storage means 11 to store multimedia instructional materials corresponding to the study target, a teacher information transmission means 12 to send the multimedia instructional materials to the student site device, a study understanding information acquisition means 13 to totalize the study understanding information for every student device, and an instructional material selection means 14 to select and offer a multimedia instructional material as a following one to every student site device based on the study target and study understanding information. A student site device 6 consists of a teacher information reception means 15 to receive the multimedia instructional material from the teacher site device 2 and a student information transmission means 16 to send the understanding information to the teacher site device 2.
