<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bending of a brush member, which is made to contact with a sheet to be carried so as to eliminate a charge of the sheet material, at the time of handling, and to prevent the deformation thereof due to the use for a long time, and to prevent the static elimination failure so as to eliminate the image picture failure due to the static elimination failure. SOLUTION: Multiple conductive and flexible wire materials are arranged in parallel with each other in the sheet carrying direction so as to form a brush member 2. A base end 21 of the brush member 2 is pinched by a holding member 3 for grounding. The holding member 3 is formed with a stage difference part (d) between an upper edge 31a of the upstream side holding part 31 and an upper edge 32a of the downstream side holding part 32. When the static eliminator brush 1 is held from over or under thereof, since one finger is stopped by the upper edge 31a, a free end 22 of the brush member 2 is not bent from the root thereof. When a sheet material, which is carried from the right direction, abuts on the free end 22 of the brush member 2, the brush member 2 is gradually bent from the upper edge 32a of the downstream side holding part 32, it is hard to be deformed.</p> |
