The method involves taking a binary input time sequence (en) which is formed from a message with a digital key code. Some of the input signals are delayed with respect to the position occupied in the sequence using a shift register (1). Other positions within the digital sequence are maintained in their original sequence. The shift register has an input pointer (2), output pointer (3) and feedback loop which implement the sequence change. Several registers can be placed in parallel to provide further coding power.
