The invention relates to a masonry barbecue prefabricated in kit form, the constituent elements of which are assembled together by dry interlocking, by means of 45 DEG chamfers, without requiring a binding product such as mortar. The structure has been broken up into a certain number of elements so that each can be handled by a single person. The barbecue is made of cast concrete of the "white concrete" type, with parts covered with burnt clay elements such as the hearth and work surfaces. It is equipped with an ash box 10, a grille 11 and spit-rotating device 12, as well as cooking accessories; it can be converted into a closed oven by fitting two glass doors.
