PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a separator formed by presswork by forming corrugated shapes along the outer circumference of a center plate. SOLUTION: This separator 5 for a fuel cell has the structure composed of the following parts: a center plate 20 to separate an anode gas 7 and a cathode gas 6; two mask plates 21 which have almost the same outer size as the center plate 20 and an aperture 10 for an electrode in the center and are installed mutually in parallel at a prescribed gap while sandwiching the center plate 20 between them and closely attached to the center plate 20 at the outer circumferential end; and a punched plate 22 so installed in parallel to the mask plates 21 as to be stuck to the inner faces of the mask plates and cover the aperture 10 for an electrode. The improvement of the separator is that the center plate 20 is made corrugated 23 in its whole circumference which is as a prescribed gap from the outer circumferential end of the mask plates 21. It is preferable that the up and down interval of the corrugated shape 23 is just the size to be fitted with the prescribed gap of the make plates 21. |
