<p>A container formed by wrapping a slotted flexible sheet (50) about rigid end panels (70) having upper corner projections (36) that extend through the slots (44). The end panels are formed from a blank having end flaps (76) which are folded and adhered to the main body (72) of the blank to provide double thickness at the end portions. Additional reinforcement may be provided by a reinforcing flap (110) connected to the main body or by a stiffener insert (100). Stacking projections (24) on the end panels extend through slots (42) in the flexible sheet to maintain the sheet in place.</p> |
