A burglarproof system improving the tag detecting accuracy and preventing an erroneous alarm from being given. In S3, the waveform for a predetermined period of a signal received by a reception antenna is sampled. In S4, the data on the sampled waveform for a predetermined period and a reference signal stored in advance in a memory circuit in a computing unit are divided into a plurality of parts at an equal pitch respectively with respect to a time axis, and a value at each point of the reference signal and a value at each point in the data corresponding to the previously-mentioned points are multiplied individually, the sum of the resultant values being then determined. In S6, the calculated value and a predetermined value are compared, whereby a waveform in agreement with reference vibration is detected. In S7, an alarm means is actuated.
