Aid for applying stent on balloon of dilation catheter

The aid comprises an intermediate sleeve (1) which has a longitudinally conical inner hollow. The inner hollow is adapted to the cross-section of the partially unfolding balloon (6). The inner hollow has an outer wall with a cross-section smaller than the clear inner cross-section of the undeformed stent (7). The intermediate sleeve has a rigid section at its end for pressing together of the balloon. A flexible section (3) with a smaller cross-section than the rigid section, is fastened on the rigid section for mounting of the stent. The rigid and flexible sections consist of the same material, and the wall thickness of the rigid section is larger than the flexible section.
