PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display visually the transition state of a required channel of a base station for the user of a portable equipment by providing a control section and a base station state display trunk capable of outputting relation information for each change in a communication state of a base station to an exchange installation. SOLUTION: Every time a control section 5b of an exchange 2 changes the communication state of a base station, information relating to a state of buffers 6d - is outputted. A base state display trunk 11 extracts the information from the buffer 6d and outputs the information to a base station state display panel 8 installed at a location easily observed by an external communication party. The information with respect to the communication state of the base station 2 is stored in a display data storage section 18 of the base station state display panel 8 and displayed on a display section 9 depending on the content. The base station state display is automatically updated every time the communication state of the base station is changed through the configuration above. The user of a portable equipment 1 confirms the display of the base station state display panel 8 visually and a radio communication channel being idle and considered to be proper for communication quality is selected by the operation of the portable equipment 1. |
