METHOD OF PROTECTING PRECIOUS METAL ARTICLES FROM COPYING (VARIANTS)

In essence, the invention lies in six variants of a method of protecting precious metal articles from copying, using data markers applied to the article in question. In the first two variants of the method of producing an image of the marker on the surface of the article, a photographic process is used to form an image of the marker from a film of an amorphous diamond-like substance. In the third variant, the marker is applied in the form of a combination of a holographic micro-relief and macro-relief. In the fourth variant, the marker is applied to the article in the form of an encoded hologram. In the fifth and sixth variants, a protective coating of an amorphous diamond-like substance is applied to the micro-relief of the marker.
