The rear section of the cutter is secured in the milling machine. The middle section (3) has a guide track (3.1), on which a guide portion (2.2) on the front one (2) slides at right angles to the axis of rotation, being locked by clamps (6,6.1) in the desired position. The clamps can be formed by a holding member (6) secured in a bore (3) parallel to the guide track. A lengthwise slot (3.2) is machined in the track parallel to the bore, and in which a bolt works, securing the member and front section to each other.
