Setting adjusting element method using control and-or regulating unit for land surveying

The method uses a control and/or regulating unit. In the first case geographic coordinates ( lambda , phi ) are directly introduced and the plane coordinates (y,x) are determined according to formulae for x and y. In the second case the plane coordinates are directly introduced or alternatively e.g. are determined from UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) coordinates. The geographic coordinates are determined according to formulae for phi and lambda . l: = lambda - lambda 0, where lambda = geographic length for a place (P) in degrees of latitude and lambda 0 = geographic length for a reference meridian. c mu v, d mu v, are constant coefficients, dependent solely on the first eccentric (e1), and the large half axis of the earth ellipsoid. M,N are specified whole numbers which are dependent on a specified accuracy.
